THE MANAGER IS PAID TO BE ASSERTIVE. BE EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE AT THE SAME TIME.

THIS MEANS THAT WE NEED TO REACH THE GOAL WITH THE LOWEST AMOUNT OF RESOURCES POSSIBLE.

THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO REACH THE GOAL. BUT, THEY HAVE WASTED A LOT OF RESOURCES ON THE WAY. FOR EXAMPLE: TIME RESOURCE OR MONEY RESOURCE.

THEY SAY TIME IS MONEY, WHEN WE WASTE TIME, WE ARE WASTING MONEY.

THERE ARE OTHERS WHO DO EVERYTHING AND DO IT VERY WELL. THEY SAVE EVERYTHING, BUT THEY DO NOT REACH THE GOAL. THEY ARE NOT BEING EFFECTIVE.

THE IDEA IS TO ACHIEVE BOTH. FOR THIS YOU ARE GOING TO NEED A TEAM THAT FLOWS, AND YOU DO THE TASKS YOU HAVE TO DO.

YOU CAN’T DO OTHERS’ TASKS. THE MORE YOU DELEGATE THE BETTER. THE IDEA IS TO GET OTHERS TO DO THE TASKS THAT YOU CAN DO. THEY WILL MAKE THEM BETTER.

YOU WILL NOT BE BETTER THAN THEM AT EVERY TASK.

MANY TIMES WE COME FROM THOSE POSITIONS AND WE BELIEVE THAT WE ARE THE BEST, AND THAT’S WHY WE HAVE TO DO IT.

WE DO NOT LET GO OF THE TASK. WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DO NOT RELEASE THAT TASK? THAT WE ARE NOT BEING ASSERTIVE. BECAUSE WE ARE DOING TASKS OF COLLABORATORS.

THE IDEA IS TO LEARN TO DELEGATE. AND IT IS NOT THAT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DO ANY HOMEWORK. YOU ARE THERE FOR A REASON.

MANAGING IS NOT EXECUTING TASKS, BUT THAT THE TASKS BE EXECUTED.

IT IS A DIFFERENT MENTALITY. WE ARE GOING TO MAKE OUR TEAM BETTER.

IF YOU COME FROM THAT TEAM YOU KNOW WHO IS WHO, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO PUT EAR PLUGS IN ORDER TO SEE THEM WELL.

NOW YOU WILL HAVE TO IDENTIFY WHO IS GOOD FOR WHICH THING. WHO NEEDS TO BE GOOD. AND WHICH WILL NOT BE GOOD AT SOMETHING.

FOR EXAMPLE: THERE ARE TASKS THAT SOME DO THEM WELL AND OTHERS WILL NEVER DO THEM SO WELL. WE WILL NOT DELEGATE THOSE TASKS TO THESE PEOPLE.

BUT THOSE WHO DO NOT DO THOSE TASKS WELL HAVE TO DO OTHERS, OTHERWISE THEY ARE NOT AN EFFICIENT PART OF THE TEAM. THEREFORE, MY TEAM WILL NOT BE ASSERTIVE.

I HAVE TO MAKE DECISIONS. I HAVE TO GET A VERY GOOD COMMUNICATION WITH THEM.

DECIDE WHO IS GOING TO DO WHAT. WHEN WILL YOU DO IT. AND WHEN AM I GOING TO DELEGATE.

WE ARE GOING TO SEE A COMPLETE CHAPTER OF DELEGATION, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT LEADS US TO DO MUCH MORE THINGS IN LESS TIME

HAVING MORE PEOPLE EXECUTING IS GOING TO BE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING.

AND ME, FOLLOWING UP, HELPING, AND DOING TASKS THAT ONLY I CAN DO. THAT ARE NOT EVERYDAY THINGS. BUT, OTHER MANAGEMENT TASKS, SO THAT A LOT IS EXECUTED.

DECISION MAKING, HELPING IN DECISIONS, HELPING IN EXECUTIONS ALREADY IN THE MOST CRITICAL THINGS, NOT JUST IN ANY THING THAT CAN BE DONE AND THAT MAYBE YOU DID IT, IF YOU COME FROM BEFORE.

IF YOU ARE A PERSON WHO IS NEW ON THE TEAM FORMED, YOU WILL HAVE EVEN MORE WORK TO GET THAT EMPATHY, TO MAKE THAT TEAM WORK FOR YOU.

WE ARE GOING TO SEE ALL THIS STEP BY STEP.

 

THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR JOB NOW IS TO ACHIEVE ASSERTIVENESS IN THE WHOLE TEAM. YOU ARE NOT A PIECE, BUT A COMPLETE TEAM.
